Our father, Napa Valley winemaking icon Peter Mondavi Sr., raised us in the idyllic vineyard landscape of the Napa Valley. This instilled in us a passion, a commitment, a desire to produce the best wine that is humanly possible in collaboration with nature. We have assembled a team comprised of an exceptionally gifted winemaker, a world-class vineyard manager and a vineyard site we believe is capable of producing fruit of unparalleled quality. While it may seem strange to consider a vineyard part of the team, we believe it is our most critical team member.
Beginning with our prized Howell Mountain site, vineyard manager Jim Barbour creates a sanctuary capable of growing fruit of the highest caliber. Winemaker Thomas Brown utilizes this fruit in pursuit of superior quality Cabernet Sauvignon, a pursuit that is without compromise. After years of collaboration it is with great pride that we share the fruition of our aspirations and introduce Aloft – new heights in Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain.
